POSITION TITLE Activities Coordinator (Motherhouse Columbus)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
This is a staff position dedicated to supporting the overall mission of the Dominican Sisters of Peace as an independent environment. Responsibilities include the planning and implementation of social, recreational, physical, and intellectual activity programming for the resident sisters. The incumbent works collaboratively with other staff and employees to maintain a quality program for all resident sisters.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma, Some college

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Work and/or volunteer experience with senior citizens.
Knowledge of gerontology principles and spiritual effects of aging
process and activity programming.

POSITION TITLE      Justice Promoter

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
The Justice Promoter promotes Justice, Peace, and the Integrity of Creation (JCIP) through education which animates advocacy and action on the part of Sisters, Associates, Ministry Colleagues, and Staff.  The Promoter coordinates the JPIC Committees which are responsible for executing the JPIC priorities of the Order and our Chapter Commitments.  The Promoter helps to promote and support the integration of JPIC goals and objectives across the Congregation by working collaboratively with Sisters, Departments and other partners.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Provides fullness of Dominican life to the Sisters in residence. Provides educational opportunities and resources for Sisters, Associates, Ministry Colleagues, and Staff. Works with coalitions to support advocacy which contributes to systemic change

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in human services field or equivalent. Ability to animate and inspire others to work for justice. Understanding of Catholic Social Teaching.

POSITION TITLE     IT Help Desk Technician

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Provides fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems. Answers queries on basic technical issues and offers advice to solve them. Additionally, the position will assist in other areas and projects as required and provide some user support. Must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. Must be customer-oriented and patient to provide excellent customer service.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree in computer science field or related discipline is preferred or relevant experience equivalent. At least one year of relevant experience that demonstrates performance of all aspects of the position; experience working in a comparable size organization preferred.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Providing direct support for our user’s information technology issues and personal consumer electronics. Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email. Perform in person and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions. Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers. Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
