The Education Resource Coordinator (ERC) works with the Co-Directors of the Office of Founded Ministries to ensure that the Catholic identity and Dominican charism are integrated within each ministry. The ERC will help develop, design and implement formation programs for boards, advisory councils, ministry leaders, staff and other constituents of the ministries. The ERC will work with ministries to facilitate grant-funded opportunities. The Office of Founded Ministries (OFM) of the Dominican Sisters of Peace works with the Congregation’s Founded Ministries leaders. Founded Ministries include those that are separately incorporated and those that are not. Principle responsibilities include working with Leadership Delegates, administrators, boards, and advisory councils to promote Catholic identity and Dominican charism and coordinate partnerships and community resources to enhance the offerings of the ministries.
Bachelor’s Degree in education, communications, organizational management or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
Willingness to assimilate and engage Dominican Charism and Catholic identity. Demonstrates an effective leadership style of teamwork and collaboration. Works within collaborative management model and works independently. Uses adult education models. Has strong oral, written communication and technological skills specifically knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office. Demonstrates concrete evidence of ability to convene, facilitate, and motivate various types of groups. Prioritizes assigned tasks, effectively handles work on multiple projects and daily tasks simultaneously.
