Discern With Your Heart and Mind
We are blessed with so many wonderful tools for exploration and discernment – online videos, books and brochures, group meetings, and access to meetings with a spiritual or vocation director. But the most important element of discernment – one that cannot be ignored or underestimated – is PRAYER.
Prayer is the best way to open your heart to God and to be fully accepting and aware of how God is moving in your life.
As you walk your discernment journey, give yourself the gift of some peace and quiet in which to prayerfully reflect on:
+ your personal prayer life,
+ your relationship with God,
+ your openness to mission, service and community,
+ your feelings and your personal goals.
Through baptism, all Christians are called to share God’s love. In which way is God calling you to share that love?
+ As a religious Sister?
+ As a married person?
+ As a single person?
Talk to God. Ask God to help you see what brings out the best in you. You may also want to explore the possibility of becoming an Associate.
