Cathy feels grateful for her supportive community of Sisters, her advanced ministry education, and the shared prayers with U.S. Dominicans since beginning her religious life.

Gregoria feels that God has been weaving a love story into her life through her vocation as a religious sister as she comes to know God through the incarnate Word of Jesus. She finds that God is always faithful, merciful, and compassionate through her joys, hopes, dreams, struggles, and crises.
Favorite Scripture: “Then Jesus looked steadily at him and loved him and he said, ‘For you, one thing is lacking. Go sell what you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven. Then come and follow me.'” (Mark 10:21)

Since joining religious life, Paula has enjoyed several opportunities for travel within the Midwest and Southeast states. Most significant though was her first trip abroad to southern France to visit the lands of St. Dominic, the founder of the Order of Preachers. She is quickly becoming an itinerant Dominican, all because of her “yes” to religious life.
Favorite Scripture: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13)

In hindsight, Terri’s advice to her younger self would be to not worry about how to begin discerning or the “right” thing to do; instead, be open and devoted to the discernment process, for the way of God is often slow and full of mystery, and that God is always faithful.
Favorite Scripture: “What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8)
