…all members of the Dominican Order live our lives according to the Four Pillars:

Prayer
Community
Study
Service

When life around us becomes challenging, the pillars are our north star. They guide us in responding to God’s call.

We find solace and direction in Prayer. We find wisdom in Study. We find comfort and strength in the love of our Community. We find fulfillment and joy in Service to God’s people.

Prayer

We join Catholics and people of faith around the world as we come together in our chapels, convents, and Motherhouses to pray for our families and friends, our Church, and for the problems of the world.

Study

We study not only the Word of God but also the world around us, and share the fruit of our study through our ministries in education, healthcare, farming, and social justice.

Community

We live in our homes, parishes, and communities in fellowship and harmony, supporting one another and fostering a culture of care for all around us, especially

Service

We minister to God’s people through preaching, spiritual teaching and counseling, academic education, poverty alleviation, advocacy, and more.
