Good Trouble Friday – Stations of Love and Justice.

Dominican Sisters of Peace Roberta Miller, Bea Tiboldi, Annie Killian and Sister Sylvia Mulenga joined an ecumenical Stations of the Cross procession on Good Friday. The procession was hosted by Trinity Episcopalian Church, and traversed around the Ohio State House on Capitol Square. As those in attendance prayerfully recalled Jesus’s journey to the Cross, we remembered and prayed for those who suffer in our day, and prayed for peace and justice, for the dignity of every human being, and for the care of all God’s creation.

Each Station was led by leaders or members of a local Christian denomination and/or congregation. Srs. Roberta Miller, Sylvia Mulenga and Annie Killian represented the Dominican Sisters of Peace, and read the prayers and reflection of the Tenth Station.

Sr. Sylvia led the opening, referring to our concern for eco-justice. Sr. Annie read the Scripture passage, and Sr. Roberta shared a reflection on the Tenth Station in the light of eco-justice. After the reflections, Sr. Roberta led the group in prayer.

We are grateful to Sr. Bea Tiboldi for her photography and reporting on this event.

  1. Thank you dear sisters for sharing these stations of the cross on Good Friday and for your witness. So sorry I could not be with you. God bless and keep well.

  2. The Dominican Sisters of Peace (and Associates) not only talk the talk, but literally and figuratively walk the walk each day! Kudos to you for your compassion and commitment to God and community:)
