Theresa Flores, author of The Slave Across the Street and a survivor of and campaigner against sex trafficking, spoke with Sisters at the Columbus Motherhouse on May 6. Theresa is the founder of Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution (SOAP), and spoke to Sisters about the causes of human trafficking and how to recognize and prevent possible trafficking scenarios.

Sister Nadine Buchanan has worked with Theresa on many events and projects and facilitated her visit.
This was absolutely an informative and moving presentation. Thank you, Theresa and Nadine!
