Earlier this year, the Dominican Sisters of Peace announced the closure of the Motherhouse in Great Bend, Kansas. Nine sisters who need special medical care were among those who were relocating to new community life. In early July, thanks to a generous grant from Serve Our Aging Religious (SOAR!), these sisters traveled comfortably on chartered planes to their new homes in Kentucky and Ohio.
