Sr. Cathy Buchanan, OP, was welcomed into her new community at the Dominican Sisters of Peace this weekend. She recently changed ministries, leaving her work at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT, to join Cristo Rey High School in Columbus, OH, as Director of Campus Ministry. Sr. Cathy will be living at the Columbus, OH, House of Welcome, a home where many of our younger Sisters and women considering religious life live in community.

As part of her welcome, Sr. Cathy renewed her Vows of poverty, celibacy, and obedience. She made her Temporary Vows, or First Profession, in 2023. Sister Sheila Marie McIntyre, OP, served as Sr. Pat Twohill's delegate to receive Sr. Cathy's vows, with other members of the House of Welcome present to celebrate.
