Bishop Mark O'Connell made a visit to the Sansbury Care Center today to see his aunt, Sr. Jean Delaney. Previously the auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Boston, Bishop O'Connell visited Sisters from his own assignments, including Sr. Kathleen Corrigan, who ministered in Boston, and Sisters Carol Davis and Christine Connolly, both previously at the Dominican Retreat and Conference Center in Niskayuna, NY.

In an Instagram post about his visit, Bishop O'Connell said that Sr. Jean has referred to him as “My Mark” for 40 years, and our Sisters in Kentucky know him by that name. "Today, he said, "Even in her frailty and almost blindness, she called me that as soon as she heard my voice."
