Sr. Ana was the keynote speaker at Dominican University New York’s Founders Day on September 15, where the community gathered to reflect on the traditions that have shaped the institution and the shared responsibility to carry that legacy forward.
The day’s celebrations also featured the Living the Legacy speech by Kyle Souza ‘19 and the Freshman Convocation. The Spirit of the Founders Awards went to students Francesca Zayas and Emma Gribben and staff/faculty Maureen Amato and Dr. Rob Stauffer. The day ended with service projects throughout campus and a Hispanic Heritage Month Kick-Off party outside Granito.
The Dominican Sisters of Peace were blessed by this opportunity to celebrate this special day with the Dominican University New York community and our Sisters at the Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt.
