Upcoming Discernment Events

Whether you are looking for a quiet, contemplative introduction to religious life or you would like to experience the joy of ministry first-hand, the Vocation Team of the Dominican Sisters of Peace would like to welcome you to one of our programs. These events are free and are held at our Motherhouses, ministry sites, and convents around the country. Watch this page for more information about discernment events near you.

Come and See Discernment Retreat

Our “Come and See” retreats give you and other discerning women an opportunity to meet our sisters by joining us for prayer, meals, presentations, conversation, and fun. You will have the opportunity to spend time with one of the Dominican Sisters of Peace to talk about your own vocation or to ask questions about discernment and religious life. The retreat also includes time for quiet personal prayer, reflection, presentations on religious life, and time to enjoy community with our Sisters as you explore God’s call for your life. To learn more about what to expect at a Come and See retreat click here.

In 2024, we will be offering two Come and See Retreats, March 15-17, 2024 and September 13-15, 2024 at two different locations, yet-to-be determined. You can contact a Vocation Minister for more information.
